STAND (SUAS)

STAND Trinity is an initiative of the organisation SUAS Education which aims to bring out social change through education and activism.  

If you're interested in social development through education and activism, Trinity STAND society (formerly Suas), is for you! As a branch of the Irish NGO Suas, we are your one-stop shop for volunteering and global activism in college. We aim to provide students with a means of giving back through the volunteer programmes Suas Ar Scoil, we run, including literacy, law and homework clubs in DEIS schools around Dublin. We also offer volunteer abroad programmes to India and Zambia each summer. If volunteering is not for you, we have talks from experts on social issues, film screenings, coffee hours, a student magazine, social events, and more. Get involved!
