Metaphysical Society

The DU Metaphysical Society, also known as The Metafizz, is Trinity's philosophy society. No, no, we're not into debating, but rather existential dread! We welcome all undergrads and postgrads from fellow philosophers to non-philosophers who don't even know what philosophy is (we're still figuring out what it is too, to be honest). Each week we will host a guest speaker event, topics for this coming year include contemporary art, media theory and tech, all looked at from philosophical angles. We will also host weekly reading groups, film screenings, library hours and various get togethers that will most likely involve a glass of wine or two, all within Covid restrictions of course.
