Trinity Orchestra

Trinity Orchestra is Ireland’s only fully student run orchestra. Bringing together students and staff from every discipline in the college, Trinity Orchestra is first and foremost a classical ensemble that covers an extensive repertoire every year, playing music from Bach and Beethoven to Tchaikovsky and Dvorák. The Orchestra has become a popular favourite on the Irish festival scene, having played pop, funk and disco sets at Forbidden Fruit, All Together Now and Electric Picnic. As well as this, the Orchestra tours annually, showcasing its work to international audiences around Europe, at locations including Hungary, Portugal and Belgium. Continually pushing the boundaries of the traditional orchestra, Trinity Orchestra has established itself as a much loved and cherished college institution that strives to be a platform for talented young musicians and composers.
