SUMMARY:Information session on running for CSC Exec 2017/18
DESCRIPTION:The CSC AGM takes place on 21st March where we will be electing 1 Honorary Treasurer\, 4 Officers and 8 ordinary members to the CSC Executive for 2017/18. Nominations for all roles will close 5pm 14th March.\n \nThe CSC Executive are your elected representatives\, and are appointed to carry out the daily running of the CSC\, allocating grants\, deciding on recognition of new societies etc and the group generally meet once a week. Being on the CSC Executive is a rewarding experience\, and gives you valuable insight into the inner workings of society life. \n \nWe will run an information session on the 7th March in the Eliz Room from 3 - 4\, when we will go through what being on exec entails\, and answer any of your questions should you be considering running. If you cannot make it there’s some information here - you can also contact the current executive or you can drop into the office and speak with Emma and Lucy anytime.\n \nIn addition to ordinary executive members\, there are four Officers - Chair\, Treasurer\, Secretary and Amenities Officer.  There is information here about their duties\, and you can drop by the CSC office and speak to any of the current officers during their office hours. \n \nThe role of Honorary Treasurer is a three year position\, and so is normally held by a postgraduate student or a member of staff.
